My Approach

I believe healing rarely happens as quickly as we want it to. Often, it isn’t marked by a dramatic breakthrough, but by a quiet moment months later when you notice yourself responding differently to something that once overwhelmed you. That’s growth.

Emotions are not random or excessive. They are information. Anger, sadness, fear each one tells us something about what is rooted underneath. In our work together, we slow things down. We name the emotion. We explore where it comes from. We gently untangle the patterns shaped by past experiences and trauma so you can better understand how they influence your perspective today.

I understand that not all cultures openly accept conversations about depression, anxiety, or mental health. You are welcome to bring your beliefs, values, and questions into the room. I am not here to correct you, I am here to see you, hear you, and understand you within the context of your life.

Many people carry quiet grief.
Grief around relationships — marrying early, not marrying at all.
Grief around parenthood — having children, not having children.
Grief around identity, independence, expectations, and belonging.

For many women and gender-diverse individuals, these pressures can feel especially heavy shaped by cultural messages, family expectations, and societal roles. Therapy can be the place where you no longer have to carry that alone.

I see my role as someone who helps you gain clarity when everything feels tangled. Together, we untangle the wires that feel like they’re spiraling the beliefs, fears, and narratives that may be blocking you from your fullest potential.

We will gently challenge negative thought patterns and ask: How is this mindset serving you? Is it protecting you — or limiting you?

And we will also make space for lightness. Therapy does not have to feel heavy all the time. There is room for humour, insight, and moments that help you leave feeling lighter and more equipped to navigate your life.

My goal is not to keep you in therapy forever. It’s to help you feel grounded enough to move forward, and to know you can return whenever you’re ready.

While I specialize in supporting women navigating identity and life transitions, I welcome clients of all genders.
